BUSINESS STUDENTS ATTEND DISTRICT 7 FALL FBLA MEETING
The New York State FBLA District 7 Fall Conference was held at the Herkimer County BOCES campus on Friday, October 4.  Twenty-five Chittenango High School members attended along with over 150 other members from throughout Madison, Oneida, and Herkimer counties.

Several workshops were presented to the membership in attendance on topics such as “Dressing For Success—Your Total Professional Image,” “Eliminate Guesswork: Know What Qualities Employers are Looking For in Job Applicants,” “Digital Tattoo—What you post could influence a potential employer,” “NYS Career Center,” “Helping ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).”

Students acquired valuable information that will allow them to grow and develop into better students and eventually better employees.
Martin Babinec was the keynote speaker.  Mr. Babinec discussed the importance of selecting a career in which you are passionate about.  It was a great experience that the students enjoyed.
