Bridgeport PTA Turkey Trot

Bridgeport’s PTA held its annual Turkey Trot fundraising event on Thursday, October 9th, during recess. The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for students to participate in supporting the PTA by walking or running around the track for part of their recess time. Donations are made either by lap or a general donation. One hundred percent (100%) of the money raised supports the Bridgeport PTA. PTA graciously takes ten percent (10%) and pays it forward through a donation to the Bridgeport Food Pantry. It is a wonderful opportunity for character education, allowing students to learn how to give their time to benefit the whole school and community!
