NYSED Grades 3-8 Testing Change Impacts Spring Break

The New York State Education Department (Commissioner's letter) has forced OCM BOCES component school districts to change the Spring Break week to April 9-13, 2012 (Superintendent's letter to parents/staff).   As a result, many events will need to be rescheduled to accommodate the new Spring Break dates.  A revised schedule will be posted soon.  Senator Richie’s (Senator's letter) sums up many of our feelings regarding this unprecedented forced change in our school calendar.
