Chittenango Middle School

Chittenango Middle School educates approximately 575 students in grades five through eight. Teaming, heterogeneous grouping, and curriculum integration are indicative of the strength of conviction to the middle school concept. The core academic program is enhanced by an emphasis on integrated language arts, interdisciplinary projects, and acceleration opportunities in mathematics, science, art, and foreign language. Students benefit from technology through networked classrooms and automated library and research facilities. Additionally, the middle school offers students comprehensive programs in music and athletics, including modified sports for 7th and 8th graders. Average class size is 23.
