Scholarship Information

  One (1) Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 is granted by the Richard D'Alessandro Family. 
Two (2) Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame in the amount of $500.00 each.

To be eligible applicant must:

1 - Be a high school senior athlete in good standing
2 - Enroll in an accredited College or Trade School

2024 JUNIOR LEAGUE 100 YEAR ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP

The 100 Year Annual Scholarship was established in 2020 to empower women in the Syracuse community by awarding one $2,000 scholarship. The scholarship is intended to further the applicant’s identified career, educational, professional development, and/or voluntarism goals or ambitions.
 

Application Criteria:

• Must be a woman 
• Must be age 16+ (no maximum age). All ages 16+ are welcome to apply.
• Must reside in the one of the following counties: Onondaga, Madison, Cortland, Cayuga, or Oswego.
• Applicant must be looking for further education, training, or skill development. Some examples (but not limited to) are:

• • College applicants
  • Continuing education/certification programs
  • Trade training, i.e., electrician, cosmetology, web developer, dental hygienist, x-ray technician, etc.
  • Skill development: art, fitness instruction, driving programs, etc.
  • New entrepreneurs

 

Applications must be submitted by April 26, 2024.
