CHS Students Attend Area All-State

On January 31 - February 1, 2025, 10 high school musicians participated in the NYSSMA Zone 3 Area All-State Festival held at Ithaca College.  The students were selected based on their outstanding scores at the NYSSMA solo festival last Spring.  The students worked with renowned guest conductors over the two days and presented a concert at the end of the festival.  Students pictured are: Front Row (L-R) Elijah Hoover (Mixed Chorus), Molly Douglas (Mixed Chorus), Elise Chatwin (Treble Choir), Evelynn Keville (Symphonic Band), Sydney Lynch (Symphonic Orchestra), Kierstin Checksfield (Mixed Chorus), and Back Row (L-R): Aiden Grenier (Mixed Chorus), William MacAlpine (Mixed Chorus), and Logan Rogers (Symphonic Band).
