Last call for the math club before the final competition next month! Come down to Mrs. Carps room today tenth period to battle against your peers to see who will come out on top when it truly matters. The highest scorers will be featured on the announcements and receive bragging rights over everyone else.
Attention FBLA members: Please meet in the lobby immediately following announcements today, so we can leave for Herkimer College.
Hola! The Pulsera Project provides sustainable, well-paying work opportunities for nearly 200 artisans in Nicaragua and Guatemala, most of whom make colorful hand-woven bracelets, or "pulseras" in Spanish. The project then creates a market for their artwork by partnering with schools across the United States.
Pulseras will be sold at Chittenango High School for $5 from Monday, February 9th until Friday February 13th. Spanish Honor Society students are selling them as their annual service project. They are sold outside the cafeteria during lunch periods and in the lobby during 10th period. Stop by and check out these beautiful hand-made bracelets, and support the Pulsera Project. If you want to purchase one for someone else, be sure to complete a 'Pulseragram' and it will be delivered during homeroom on Valentine's Day!
Attention Seniors: Please see Mrs. O'Rourke at some point this week before break to check that your senior portrait, baby photo and quote are all correct in the yearbook.
February is Teen dating violence awareness month and SADD (Student's Against Destructive Decisions) would like to share some information with you. There are red flags and green flags in relationships...a Green Flag in a healthy relationship consists of listening to each other, having fun, and apologizing when wrong. A red flag is they make fun of you in ways that hurt your feelings.
There will be a GSA meeting in Mme Bennett's room on Thursday, February 12th during 10th period.
Athletics:
Coach Muller, and Coach Clark would like to invite you to a Boys Outdoor Track meeting on Thursday, February 12th at 2:20 pm in Mrs. Thomas's room. The team would like to defend the League Track Meet title they won last year. We look forward to meeting with everyone on Thursday!
