• relied on trading and sailing

The Trojan War * individual city-states; each believed they were the best
• Paris (the prince) kidnapped Helen and took her to Troy
• 2 epics (long poems); the Odyssey and the Iliad, were based on the Trojan War and written by Homer
• Greek soldiers hid inside a giant wooden horse and came out a night to attack Troy
• war lasted 10 years

Your project must include the four elements we have learned about: terrain or climate, homes, daily wilfe/roles of men and women, and food. You may use class notes, textbooks, library books, and the internet. Find out what Ancient Greeks ate for each meanl and include your findings in your comic strip or journal entry.
